I'm Darren Wright, a landscape and travel photographer based in the Huon Valley in southern Tasmania.
Most of my photography happens within a few hours of home, from early mornings along the Huon River to the wild coastlines, ancient forests and alpine landscapes of lutruwita / Tasmania.
My galleries are a collection of places I've explored, photographed and often returned to. You'll find familiar Tasmanian landscapes alongside quieter corners of the island, historic buildings, changing seasons and the occasional Southern Aurora.
I photograph with Canon mirrorless cameras and prefer to keep my editing natural. For me, photography is about recording a place as I experienced it, including the light, colours and atmosphere that made me stop and take the photograph.
