Sitting just off the southeast coast of Tasmania and reached by a short vehicle ferry from Kettering, Bruny Island feels both close and worlds away. Around 55 kilometres long, it’s made up of two distinct parts, North and South Bruny, joined by a narrow stretch of sand and road known as The Neck.
